UFL was engaged by the Launceston Airport’s Team to source furniture for a terminal reconfiguration that would allow for better passenger flow and movements and improve dwell time. Based on good recommendation, UFL was invited to quote on this project by referral from a business partner affiliated with Launceston Airport. The objective of creating a brighter ambiance for the area was captured by injecting colour into its décor. Bar leaners and stools were added to the footprint design to increase seating for the café and provided new working and eating areas for passengers that can be rearranged to cater for demand. As an added feature amenity, furniture was easily modified to include charging stations for phones and laptops. The furniture exclusive to UFL allowed for a 33% increase in overall seating capacity.
