UFL was engaged by Qantas Airlines to upgrade and refresh departure lounge seating throughout gates 2 – 12 in the Charlie Concourse of Melbourne Domestic Airport at Melbourne Tullamarine. Providing an end-to-end service, our team coordinated the customised upholstery and configuration design for beam placement, managed the airport/tarmac gate deliveries and delivered required product training for the installation team on-site. UFL installed over 170 5-seater AS202 beams including specialty accessibility seating with logo imprints. Our team successfully placed over 850 passenger seats, providing a reinvigorated passenger experience whereby passengers now choose to utilize the seating rather than stand.
