Emerald Airport, 2018

Emerald Airport is a busy regional airport in Central Queensland Australia. Due to the size of the region many of their passengers travel several hours to get to this airport. At times, extreme temperatures can reach over 40 degrees, meaning the airport’s café is a key spot to recharge and refresh before boarding the next flight. It was realised that the space needed a refit to provide an inviting and comfortable experience for customers yet strong enough to withstand heavy passenger movements. As a returning customer, Emerald Airport wasn’t sure what they needed. The UFL team customised a range of commercial furniture options to suit the café space, using hard wearing fibreglass chairs and tables with cast iron bases, making them ideal for the high traffic area.

“UFL made the process really easy. They gave me lots of options and always worked within my budget. It was all smooth sailing. I was so happy that I decided to buy more product for our staffroom and have plans to fit out our new internet area next. My repeat custom says it all.”
