Shanghai Pudong Airport, 2019 | UFL Design Lab

Send to a friend

Over the last three years, UFL worked with the airport design team to develop a beam seat system and a series of airport terminal counters to meet the demand of the 622,000m² expansion at Shanghai Pudong Airport. UFL supplied 27,000 PU seats, 132 terminal counters and 12 information desks throughout the H-shaped terminal comprised of two sections S1 and S2. The new satellite terminal will serve as an extension of the existing two terminals and function as an integrated transit centre. It will offer a multitude of services, including domestic and international transit and departure and arrival waiting lounges.
